Salary Guides
Uganda uses the Ugandan Shilling (UGX). PAYE (Pay As You Earn) is deducted monthly at source. The monthly exempt amount is UGX 235,000 (~$62). NSSF 5% is the employee provident fund contribution. The Uganda Revenue Authority (URA) publishes PAYE tax tables used by employers for payroll calculations.
